Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by to join me on this fun and exciting day! Today I am lucky enough to be teaming up with some absolutely amazing ladies to share our Christmas home tours with you all.
If you haven’t already, be sure to check hop over to Two Paws Farmhouse. Hayden has such an awesome style and is crazy talented! You’re going to love what she put together for her tour.
Christmas is without a doubt my favorite holiday. So of course it’s no surprise that year after year I usually go completely overboard. I just adore the warm and cozy feeling that Christmas time brings to our home. It’s a shame that it’s only up for such a short amount of time, isn’t it? Maybe that’s what makes it so magical after all…
Alright–let’s get started!
I got a new garland for the banister this year and also added a pom-pom garland that makes my heart smile.
I used the same garland and ribbon on our fireplace mantle but I also added in some rustic jingle bells.
I never got around to updating the stocking hanger pictures but I have to admit that it’s kind of been fun to reminisce and see how much they’ve grown since last year.
Next to the mantle I set up my vintage sled and driftwood tree.
Other than the tree I didn’t do much in the living room other than a few holiday pillows and a small tree on the coffee table.
Speaking of our tree…
I am so extremely excited with how it turned out! I created a winter woodland theme this year and it’s my favorite tree by far.
It’s always a challenge with kids to create something pretty but not too tempting to touch. Other than wanting to turn the flameless candles on all the time they pretty much leave it b!
In the kitchen I set up our hot cocoa bar on the island. It’s been so nice having it there, although with the boys there’s a whole more snacking on marshmallows and chocolate chips than actual cocoa making!
I also found this cute sign at that local boutique and just couldn’t resist! It works so well in the kitchen and really makes me get an itch to bake some cookies.
The mudroom got a little bit of cheer as well with my DIY plank tree art, some magnolia leaves, a DIY mason jar snowlgobe and my tree garland.
So there you have it! I hope you all enjoyed the tour. Be sure to swing by Arie + Co to check out Kristen’s beautiful tour next. She amazes me with the stuff that she puts together and you are going to be completely stunned with her awesome use of color!
Finally, a BIG HUGE thank you to the wonderful ladies that hosted this blog hop with me!
