Hi friends, happy Tuesday 🙂 I wanted to pop in today to quickly share how our budget-friendly spring porch turned out. I’ve had it set up for a couple of weeks now and I am so happy with it!
This was my first time actually decorating our porch for spring. It took a little bit of playing around, but I love how it came together.
It all started with this cute little wagon that I found on Amazon. It comes in red, blue and green but I decided to paint mine cream. I applied two coats of polycrylic to protect it and so far it’s held up great to several snow storms that we’ve gotten! I also painted the frame with black spray paint and two coats of spray acrylic.
I gathered containers that I had on hand, then I picked up a couple of galvanized metal planters and mini terracotta pots from Dollar Tree.
I also picked out a couple different white florals from Dollar Tree. I am shocked at both how realistic they look and at how well they’ve held up to the crazy Colorado elements. Not bad for a buck!
I put rocks inside of the containers on top of stems so that they don’t blow away and so far they’ve stayed put. We’ve had some extremely windy days here lately so that’s saying something!
The vintage metal flower market sign was an Amazon find and I simply attached it to some weathered scrap wood that we had in the garage.
I found the cement bunny at Hobby Lobby for a steal of a price (I want to say he was only $6) and I painted his pink ears to fit in better with my neutrals.
I hung my DIY tulip wreath on the front door. Can you believe that this thing is now on it’s third year hanging outside? I think it still looks just as good as the day I made it.
The Dollar Tree Welcome Sign that I made is hanging from the porch light and breaks up the space visually.
This little corner is so cheerful and even though it’s been covered in snow off and on the last couple of weeks, it’s a cheerful sight to walk up to!
Thanks for stopping by today! I plan to be back tomorrow to share a fun furniture flip so stay tuned for that 🙂
