Hello friends! Today I am sharing a dresser makeover that was so simple, but is still one of my favorite pieces to date.

I found this oak dresser on Marketplace and was excited about the potential since these old oak pieces always clean up so beautifully.
After giving it a good scrub I began sanding it all the way down to the raw wood.
I wiped back the sanding dust and then applied a single coat of white paint wash to the body. I wanted the drawers to stand out a bit, so I did three coats on those.
Next it was time to add some interest! I used Frog tape to tape off triangles on the top two drawers.
I then applied two coats of wood stain.
I sealed it all up with a couple coats of poly, installed new hardware—and here is how it turned out!
I love how the different colors of wood blended together and this turned out to be such a fun and different piece!
Such simple updates, but all together they made it feel like a totally different piece!
I hope you have a fantastic rest of the week!
