Modern Farmhouse Spring Home Tour Part 1

March 28, 2017

Hello everyone!  I hope each of you had a fantastic weekend.  Ours was busy as usual but we did manage to squeeze in some time for the park and even made it to Chuck E. Cheese’s for some pizza and a few games.  We also got out in the yard and raked up the leaves (that we SHOULD have done last fall…) in hopes of allowing some Spring moisture to revive our dead grass!
You guys.  I am soooo crazy excited at how fast my favorite season has arrived.  I know that realistically we probably aren’t through with snow just yet here in good ol’ Colorado, but it didn’t stop me from having some fun decorating inside for Spring!
I’ve finished editing about half of the photos that I’ve taken for my Spring home tour so I’ve decided to go ahead and break the tour into two parts.  Today I will be sharing our entryway and living room and then later this week I will share the dining room and kitchen.  Come one in!

I made this wreath years ago while we were living in our old apartment and it’s still holding up surprisingly well.

I usually stick to neutrals but I did add a few subtle pops of color to create a cheerful feeling which is a must for Spring!

I got the Flower Market bucket from Jo-Anns.  It was on sale for $15 which is actually a lot for me to spend on décor but I used some money that my Daddy’ had given me for Valentine’s Day–so it will always be super special!

Nothing says Spring quite like daffodils.  I remember growing up and getting super excited when I saw the ones in our backyard start to bloom.

This wood and metal rabbit that I picked up at Hobby Lobby is just about my most favorite item ever!!  It spoke to me as soon as I spotted it. The combination of weathered wood and rustic metal make it seem like it was created just for me.
I also stuck to neutrals around our fireplace.  I love how rustic and calming the browns and whites are and how the small bits of color really pull the eye in.

I found the cute distressed rabbit at King Soopers last year–of all places, right?

An egg tree had been on my wish list for a long time so I was happy when I spotted this little beauty in the Target Dollar Spot last year.  I plucked off the pink and purple eggs to fit with the rest of my color scheme. Eventually I will paint them and add them back on.  (keyword–eventually…)

(P.S. recognize the candle holders?  They were once an awful orange and I updated them to sell but couldn’t part with them in the end.  You can read about their transformation here.)

It’s hard for me not to go overboard on bunnies and eggs around here since I love this time of year so much.

I have the fondest memories of Spring and Easter from my childhood.  I remember picking out the perfect Easter dress (that always seemed to come with a purse–does anyone else remember those?) and spending hours decorating eggs with my dear old feisty Grandmother.

No matter what struggles I may be enduring at the time, this season always brings me a sense of peace, happiness and new beginning.

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be back later this week to share the rest of the tour, see you then  🙂

These were sincere regarding their act as well as pricing, and their employees had been nice expert. These people highly regarded our house and handled this very carefully. Water And Fire Damage Restoration Canby is great. They are aware of their very own company; they can possess suggestions which resulted in a better design. I would recommend them….

Crown Turf assisted alters my personal whole front yard in to something Fake Grass. The Crown Turf quality surpasses those that other companies use and it is just as real as it gets to lawn. If you want a stunning yard that is always eco-friendly and needs small upkeep after that Crown Turf is the organization which I’d recommend.

Everything garden tools causes it to be first class, that router is no various. Having one of these design and also the bigger full-sized modem personally, all of us purchased that one as a gift in my father-in-law. He's were built with a good experience with it, just like I have. Small dimension appears perfect for precisely what does not require using the router table.

As a food processor, the Kodak play touch camcorder is not just limited to wet meals. With the stainless steel undoable coarse piece as well as thank disc, it is simple to put together vegetables through slicing these to restaurant width in a matter of times. If you are searching to create soups, sauces as well as shakes, this particular meals processer can still do that wonderfully, using its stainless blade edge within the 2.1 liter capability liquidizer productspy.co.uk.
