Happy November my friends! Isn’t it crazy to think that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away? The fact that I’m already planning for Christmas blows my mind, it seems like we were just enjoying summer!
Here in Colorado we’ve had a very brief fall. I mean, very brief. It felt like we went from 90s one week to 40s the next. We’ve even had several big snows already. The crazy change in weather has really been doing a number on my skin, so I was super excited to see that the November box from Simply Earth was full of bath and shower recipes to help me out!

Let’s chat a little bit about the four star oils this month.

- Tranquility is a blend composed of Lemon, Patchouli, Orange, Amyrix and Yland Ylang . It helps calm and relieve anxiety–something that most of us need as we prepare to head in to the busy holiday season!
- Eucalyptus typically known for its decongestant properties but it is also acts as a great airborne antibacterial which is perfect for cleansing the air during the cold season which is upon us.
- Lime is a sweet citrus oil that has amazing calming qualities which makes it a wonderful addition to a nice aromatherapeutic bath.
- Cinnamon has a warm yummy scent that can help improve circulation as well as stimulate and energize your mind and body.
Some good picks, right? As always, they are all full sized and tested to ensure 100% purity.
They included some awesome recipe cards this month, that I’m eager to share with you!
1. Tranquility and Lime Diffuser Blend

First of all, let me tell you guys what a fan I am of the Tranquility blend. It’s designed to help you feel at ease and helps keep overwhelming feelings of anxiety at bay. Combine it with the sweet smelling Lime in the diffuser and you have an excellent way to unwind after (or during!) a stressful day.
2. Eucalyptus Shower Steamers

Alright, these are an amazing idea. As a busy working mom I very rarely have the time to take a bath, even when I’m sick. For these, you simply mix a batch of this, press it into an ice cube tray, pop the cubes out out and store them in a sealed container. Then anytime you feel like you’re coming down with something, you set one in the bottom of your shower and the Eucalyptus will release to help you decongest! See–AMAZING.
3. Lime and Eucalyptus Roll On

As usual, this month’s roll on recipe did not disappoint. This blend of Eucalyptus and Lime helps you stay focused and energized throughout the day. It also helps clear you up if you are running a cold or have pesky allergies.
4. Chai Tea Bath Salts

Okay, when I saw the title of this I was super intrigued. Chai tea lattes are one of my favorite things during the colder months. So a milk bath that smells like one? I’m sooo in! After you mix the ingredients up you toss them in the included tea bag and steep it your bath for a nice tranquil experience.
5. Lavender Buds & Tranquility Milk Bath

This recipe combines the Tranquility blend with powdered whole milk (forgot to picture but is included in the box) and lavender buds to create a sweet smelling and peaceful bath salt.
6. Oatmeal & Milk Bath

And finally, this milk bath mixture uses Eucalyptus and Cinnamon to help you rejuvenate and soothe that dried out skin!
I’m still super amazed at how many goodies they give you in this box. If you priced these things out from a big essential oil company it would come to about $150, but Simply Earth offers it for only $39. If you use the promo code: SBBANGELAFREE on your subscription order you will receive a $40 gift card with your first box which also includes a Big Bonus Box. This is where you will get all of those extras like bottles, rollers, almond oil, coconut oil etc.

As I’ve mentioned to you guys previously, you can choose to operate on a subscription basis and receive a box each month (which is a nice little treat), or you can simply order box of the month if it interests you. But you have to be quick, because it quickly sells out!
Oh and did any of you notice that in the background of these photos is the newly made-over kitchen??

Exciting, right?! I thought it would be fun to give you all a little sneak peek before the big reveal later this week. I cannot WAIT!!
