Hello everyone and welcome to part two of the Spring home tour. In case you missed part one you can catch up here.

Thank you for bearing with me while I split this tour in two parts. Today let’s check out the rest of the living room, the dining room and the kitchen!

I absolutely adore light colored linen couches and although I am lucky enough to have one in the basement we have a microfiber dark brown one upstairs because A) kids = messes and it’s great at hiding those messes–what does show is really easy to clean, and B) it’s suuuuuper comfy!

But because it is so dark I like to lighten it up by using bright pillow covers. I used aqua colored ticking fabric by Magnolia Home Fashions to make a couple of covers that coordinate fantastically with the pretty vintage lumbar pillows that I found at Homegoods.

A couple of weeks ago I shared how I made the cute egg themed pillow using cloth napkins.

And remember when I shared my 10 Farmhouse Inspired Pillow Covers for Spring? As you can see in the picture below I decided that Farm Fresh Eggs was one that I just had to have. It turned out to be a silky instead of linen and the print is kind of blurry but I still like it!

Now lets swing over to the dining room…

For the centerpiece I laid my DIY tray on a grain sack runner and filled mason jars with speckled eggs and mini tulips. Aren’t the mini tulips just the cutest??

The eggs actually started off being on the tray but since the kids wouldn’t stop playing with them at mealtime I stuck them in the jars and ended up liking the look more.

I moved our wedding items from our DIY floating shelves since Tristan can now reach them and have filled them with baskets and little farmhouse treasures.

In the kitchen I added some rabbit dishtowels to our towel basket next to the sink.

I popped some fun yellow daisies in the vase on our island and although I would like to show you how nice it looks in the center of the room I will be brutally honest and let you know that our kitchen was a total nightmare when I took these pictures so I definitely didn’t take that shot!

The mudroom also got a few Spring touches.

I am still swooning over this wreath that I scored at Homegoods. When I first spotted it I set it back with intentions of trying to make one myself but I went back the next day and got it. Sometimes when you really love something you just have to put aside your cheapskate tendencies and buy the dang thing!

The Rabbit and the Fox Grove pillow was actually the hubby’s pick and I think that it really adds the perfect touch of Spring whimsy on this bench.
