If you are visiting from one of the other hosts, welcome to my blog!

I’m a neutral farmhouse style loving girl that is completely and utterly obsessed with decorating for Christmas.  I actually told my hubby to not let me buy ANY more Christmas decorations this year.  No matter what.

But one day I popped into World Market “just to look…” and saw a bunch of the cute woodland ornaments.  And that rule went straight out the window!  Before you knew it I was putting together a winter woodland themed tree and I am so happy with how it turned out.

I started by wrapping some burlap ribbon around the tree and then added some berry picks.

I used my round silver and brown ornaments that I put on every year as a base. But next came the real fun!  To create a winter woodland themed vibe I added pinecones, snowflakes, owls, squirrels, deer, and birds.

The extremely talented Mary at The Boondocks Blog made this cute little star for this year’s Ornament Exchange and it couldn’t fit more perfectly!  You can find her tutorial here.
Instead of a tree skirt I used a galvanized bucket.  I found this one at Murdochs and we just cut out the bottom and flipped it upside down.
I topped it off with our rustic wood star and a burlap bow.
It’s rather funny, I actually never thought I would have a “themed” tree but I am completely smitten with this tree.  We’ve been enjoying the cozy winter feeling that it gives our living room!

Now let’s check out the rest of the beautiful Christmas Trees!

The colors are your tree are actually stunning together. I love a woodland tree with all the little creatures on them. I considered redoing one of my trees in a woodland theme but my love retro won out this year. I have pinned your lovely tree for next year though. Visiting from the blog hop.
