Hello everyone! You guys. I’m soooo happy that you dropped by on this very special day because not only do I get to chat about my favorite canvas photo printing company, I also get to give away a FREE canvas to one of my lucky readers! Eeek!!! So excited.
I’ve worked with Canvas Factory in the past and absolutely love the quality of their canvas photo prints. Their prices are very competitive and the online ordering process is super simple. All around they are seriously an amazing company–and I’m not just saying that because I received their product as a collaboration peeps, I really mean it 😉
Their website is very user friendly and it only takes a couple of minutes to create a masterpiece to have directly delivered to your door.
1. Choose Layout
When you go to their website and begin creating a canvas print the first thing that you will do is choose your style. You can choose to do split images, wall displays or a collage–all of which would be awesome for filling a large empty space.
For this piece I chose to go with the classic single print. This is also where you will select the size and shape that you want–I selected a 16″ x 20″.
2. Upload Photos
Once your have uploaded your photo or photos, you can crop and adjust it to your liking. You can rotate it from horizontal to landscape orientation in this step.
3. Choose Wrap Style
Next, you will finalize how you want your wrapped edges to look. You can choose to have the image wrap around, be mirrored, or you can choose a solid color.
I planned to build a wood frame around it, so in case any of the edges were still visible outside of the frame, I felt that a solid color would look the best. I really like the color dropper feature that allows you to click on a portion of the photo and match it.
5. Effects
Finally, you have the option to add an effect. I’ve done the gray and the sepia options in the past and absolutely loved the artistic flair that it created. However I chose to skip this part on this one since I really liked how color coordinated our outfits were in the picture that I chose–I mean come on, we even managed to match the front of the house!
That was it! In just a few quick minutes my canvas was ordered and was I was provided with an email confirmation along with tracking information.
A few short days later it arrived on our doorstep nicely wrapped up in thick protective cardboard packaging.
I was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning when I opened it up!
I was super happy with how it turned out.
To create the frame I simply stained a 1×2 with Minwax Classic Gray, cut it to size, screwed it together and then slipped it right over the font.
The detail is stunning and I love how it’s so different from just a standard photo in a frame.
My parents were over the moon excited when I brought it over and gave it to them. All the feels!
And now for the real fun. Canvas Factory has kindly offered to give a 16″ x 20″ canvas print to one of my lucky readers for free!
