Summer Home Tour 2022

June 17, 2022

Hey friends, happy Friday to you! It’s hard to believe that it’s already Father’s Day weekend isn’t it? This summer is already starting to fly by so fast.

Yesterday I went around and snapped some photos of this year’s summer home decor set up and I am so excited to share it with you guys today!

As always, I like to use a lot of greenery and white florals to make our home feel bright and fresh. I am slowly starting to get better at keeping real plants alive, but for the most part I still prefer my faux ones!

I also like to add faux lemons since they feel so summery and remind me of big, tall glasses of lemonade which is a summertime staple around here!

I found the huge rattan lantern at Target this year for a steal of a price, and I keep a battery-operated candle inside which looks super fun at night.

You will notice that the rest of the front room looks pretty similar to how it was for spring. I usually find the transition to be pretty easy since a lot of things can be kept the same.

I love all of the natural light that we get in our front room which is perfect since my office is set up inside that large piece in the back (it folds out into a desk).

My faux lime tree ended up in its usual spot next to the stairs.

I don’t usually do much in the kitchen, but I did add this cute little sign to the island. It’s so cheerful and cute and I love walking by it every day.

I also got a mini lemon tree and snuck it on the edge of the counter.

I kept the table simple with our dough bowl filled with greenery and a few faux lemons inside.

As always, our mudroom nook never looks this clean haha! I popped a couple of bright greenery stems into the vases on either side.

I styled the side console table just slightly different than I had it for spring.

Okay let’s finish up the tour by taking a peek over in the living room.

I added some lemons on the fireplace mantle and also hung up our star lights that look so pretty at night!

The coffee table tray still hasn’t changed much, but I did switch out the tulips with a more summery bouquet.

I also switched out the family photos to our summer ones.

I am so happy that you could stop by and join me on today’s tour, I hope you have a nice Friday and a fantastic weekend!
