Winter/Valentine’s Home Tour

January 20, 2023

Hey friends, happy Friday! The month of January is already getting away from me–I can’t believe how quickly we are flying through it. Last weekend I tidied up the house so that I could snap some winter home tour photos to share with you guys. Transitioning from Christmas to winter is always a super simple task around here because I pretty much just take down the red, jingle bells and deer and leave everything else in place. I also like to incorporate a few Valentine’s day themed items to keep the house feeling cozy and festive.

Without further ado, here is this year’s tour!

Front Room

The entry table stayed almost identical to how it was in December, and I only needed to remove/add a few items to make it work for the rest of the winter months.

The area next to the stairs also didn’t change much, just needed a simple pillow swap!

I decided to keep the big wooden snowflakes on the wall since they add such a cozy factor in here.

The coffee table tray got scooched over a little so that I could add this fun little tic-tac-toe game.

Kitchen

We keep the hot cocoa bar around since we like to enjoy it until spring decides to roll around. I just replace the red strings and switch up the napkin underneath.

The shelving is back to normal, and I found the cute little ombre tree this year on clearance at Joanns which looks super cute in the tray.

Let’s ignore how dirty the dishwasher is back there! Things have been so crazy that it’s been embarrassingly long since I’ve been able to do a good house clean.

Mudroom Nook

The chest of drawers got a few little Valentine’s touches, and that’s about all that changed.

Dining Area

The console table along this wall also stayed almost identical to how it was set up for Christmas and only required a few switch outs to make it more neutral and winter themed.

Living Room

For some reason this space always feels the barest after the tree comes down, so I always struggle to make this area feel cozy.

I basically start throwing hearts in wherever I can, and that seems to help!

I completely wrote this post in a rush and I didn’t get a chance to link anything, so if you need something please feel free to reach out to me via email or IG to ask!

I hope you guys have a great weekend and I’ll be back next week!
