Hey everyone! I can hardly believe how fast this month has been flying by and that we are only TEN days away from Christmas! I may not be ready in terms of shopping but at least the house is ready haha!
I absolutely love how each space in our home came together this year for Christmas. I actually didn’t buy many new items and mainly used things that I already had. I moved things around a bit from previous years to make it feel a little different and fresh.
Without further ado, come on in!
The entry table is decked out with trees, pinecones and little houses that I set battery operated tea lights underneath.
Our woodland tree that sits in the bay window looks a little different this year.
I decided to add in green elements as well as a few new ornaments.
You can find all of the details as well as the sources in this post.
On the other side of the front room I cozied up the sectional with a festive throw and a couple of buffalo check pillows.
I also dressed up the coffee table with a simple styled tray.
On one side of the staircase I hung a pinecone wreath over the mirror and filled my hanging wall planters up with greenery.
On the other side I used command hooks to hang up my new garland along the banister.
I made the the garland fancy with some ribbon, a pom pom garland and some battery operated lights that work on a timer to turn on and off each night.
For the table that sits here I decided that our North Pole sign adds the perfect pop of color and looks so cheerful.
Okay let’s swing over into the kitchen.
I set up our mini farmhouse style tree as I always do. I love this little tree so much, it’s only $27 at Walmart (link here) and brightens this little corner right up.
On the island I set up our traditional hot cocoa station
Not only does it make the kitchen feel festive, we find it nice to have everything we need to make the perfect cup of hot cocoa.
Next to the dining room I styled the console table with mainly neutral colors, however I decided that a few pops of red would be fun.
One night our elf Paco hung up these chalkboard ornaments on our mudroom nook baskets and I decided that I actually really like the look so they have stayed. Oh and trust me our mudroom does NOT look like this in real life! It’s usually overflowing with bags and coats haha.
Okay and finally, let’s take a peek inside our living room that just received a full makeover last month.
This is where our Santa themed tree lives and I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit this year with the new built-in benches in place. Luckily it sits in that corner perfectly!
The garland that I made looks beautiful draped across the new mantle that we built and I’m still smitten with the German Schmear on the fireplace!
We have been enjoying the chairs and table along this wall so much more than the junk dresser!
Our little Nordic Santa looks so cute sitting on the table.
I kept the coffee table tray similar to how I had it for the One Room Challenge reveal, I simply added in some greenery, a mini tree and some bells.
I am so happy that you could stop by today! I hope you enjoyed the tour and I will be back later this week to share a fun little comparison to our first Christmas here compared to this one 🙂
