Hello there and happy Friday to you! I’m so relieved that we’ve made it to the weekend–this week was kind of a doozy! As promised, I’m back today to share part 2 of this year’s Christmas Home tour. In case you missed the fun in part 1 you can catch it here.
Okay, let’s start with the table. If you’ve been around for awhile this set up probably looks awfully familiar.
I actually tried something different originally, but ended up not liking it so I went back to my tried and true! I did add some jingle bells to the greenery to jazz it up a little.
Maybe next year I will feel creative enough to come up with something new, but no promises haha!
Next to the table is my curbside dresser that I flipped a few years ago. It’s another one of those spots that’s usually tricky for me to style, but this came together pretty effortlessly for me this year.
This simple flocked wreath was only $9 and I love that all it need was a bow and it was good to go!
I mentioned on Wednesday that I found a pack of 4 Christmas pillow covers for a steal of a price on Amazon. One of them sits on the bench that I moved over from the front room and the other is hanging out in the old milk box in the living room.
Aren’t they just the cutest?! Okay let’s hop in to the living room.
The star of the room is our Santa themed tree that sits in the corner.
The kids absolutely love helping me set this tree up. I decided to upgrade the tree to this pretty 6.5″ flocked tree from Walmart and I love how much more magical the flocked snow makes it feel.
One new addition this year is the little Christmas tree train that runs around the bottom. SO much fun!
The fireplace is still a total thorn in my side. I either want to limewash it or paint it, but since I haven’t been able to decide which one I want to do yet it’s still staring me in the face every day.
The pretty garland, ribbon and bells combo that I added along the mantle helps me like it a little more though.
I decided to keep the hearth simple with a couple of bigger items and love this look.
The plaid pillows were actually made using a blanket scarf (tutorial here) and I love how festive they are.
The coffee table tray doesn’t have too many tempting items for the boys to play with. Although I am surprised that I haven’t caught them shaking up the mason jar “snowglobe” yet. I may have spoken too soon though!
For the card catalog dresser I decided to stick to a wintery vibe. This setup will probably stay up well past Christmas!
The mini trees on the sconces are from the Target dollar spot. Don’t you love that I rarely ever use actual candles on these sconces?
The thrifted jars and frames combo that I made awhile ago are super versatile since I can just change out the faux greenery each season.
When I completed the flat panel door makeover I realized that a wreath hanger no longer fit since the door was extra thick. Just when I thought that hanging a wreath here was no longer possible, I realized that I could use a command hook!
Not sure why I never thought of that before!
Well that wraps up this year’s Christmas home tour! I’m so happy that you guys swung by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
